Sew and Tell – Embroidery Week

27 Jan

I can’t say I’ve done much sewing this week. I have several projects in the mix, and the sewing space is a complete mess, but all I’ve done this week was embroider some shirts. Well, I guess you could count Sister’s birthday outfit into this week, since I finished it last Friday evening. I also stitched up a 2 shirts for sister and her friend to wear to the 100 Days celebration at school.

I just think these shirts are the cutest thing. I am loving my new machine — and I love having a little girl who enjoys all the fun mom-made stuff.

The rest of my sewing time was spend cutting for Brother’s quilt. I hate cutting more than anything else, so I try to cut it all before I sit down to sew. Hopefully the blocks will come together quickly and I will have a nice finish for next week.

Be sure to head over to Amy’s to see what others have been up to this week! I’m sure they have been sewing. :)

What a fun idea! So, so cute! It makes me want to do something similar. We’re approaching our 100th day of our 15th year of homeschooling. Hmmm… The wheels are turning.
